Theodore's days in Edmonton numbered?

The Team 1260 is reporting that the Eagles have left goaltender Jose Theodore exposed for the upcoming expansion draft.

Calls to the Eagle head office were not returned, but speculation is that with the emergence of future goaltending star Cam Ward, Theodore and his $3.4M salary is now expendable.

  • Ah quality smality, ain't no good when you can't win with them :) Plus I think Chris is sick and tired of people plucking them away during expansion drafts. Oh Esche and Garon say hi.

  • Don't forget Mr. Biron... I can't remember, but I either lost him in an expansion draft or was forced to trade him because I would have lost him.

    All to protect Mr.Roy, who never brought a championship to E-town... ;)

  • Richard - you certainly know how to put it into perspective.

    I know I've had a good run, but considering some of the teams I have had over the years, to never even get the chance to play in the final, and to make the conference final only once, is a bitter pill to swallow.

    Granted, my level of enjoyment does not really relate to playoff success. I have to admit, the past 3 seasons have probably been the most satisfying.
